Saturday 28th July 2:30pm Chester Walls
Ken and Jane would like to do a walk around Chester City Walls (or part of them).
We suggest meeting at the Bandstand down by the River Dee at 2.30 on Saturday 28th July. We will walk along the walls until we reach the locks on the canal as it goes under the Railway Bridge. We can then retrace our steps or continue round the racecourse and back to the Groves. It will be possible for people to drop out whenever they have had enough, and I am sure we will find it possible to obtain refreshments!
Please contact Jane email@example.com to confirm your attendance.
Saturday 23rd June 2018, 10:30am Blists Hill -
Adults £14 per ticket (normally £19.75), Children £6.70 (normally £12) 60 Plus £11.50 (normally £14)
This is a Steam Punk event where there will a lot more going on than during the winter months! There will be people dressed in Steam Punk clothing. There will be eclectic market stalls, exhibitions, talks and shows celebrating all things Steam Punk.
There is also an evening concert which members will be able to attend but will have to purchase their own ticket via the website (link above).Although we will have to enter together at the same time again, I have talked the groups organiser into allowing us individual tickets so that we can leave and return later if anyone wished to visit nearby Iron Bridge for example and return to the event later in the day. The day time event finishes at 8pm and the evening concert is from 7pm to 11pm.
I need a minimum of 15 people to secure these prices!
email pammy sheldon to confirm your attendance. She will be collecting money in The Butchers Arm each Monday. (except bank holiday).
Saturday 4th August 2018 -
